We launch our new website with questions. How can we meaningfully engage in the making of our cities? What does a successful place look like to different people? Can we predict what the impact of an urban intervention will be? How can we measure the outcomes of good, or bad, design and policies?
What makes places work well? In the last 10 years, we’ve worked in, and learned from, quite a few. Athens, Rome, London, Volos, Berlin, Thessaloniki, Dubrovnik, Chania, Timisoara… In the last 10 months we took the time to reflect on our past work and where we’re going next – how are we making successful places? We are here to work together with urban development actors and communities towards socially just cities in a sustainable world.
